America is like an alcoholic family where Mommy and Daddy are both pretending to be functional adults and the kids are yelling “Will somebody please tell the truth around here?!”

Alcohol death rates in Europe. Apparently very low in cultures where drunkenness is frowned upon and where alcohol is only consumed in company of others and served alongside meals. Spain and Italy for example. Source: buff.ly/3wDQcRz

It’s like a toxic dysfunctional family where one parent told has brainwashed the kids That they’re the “ good” parent & the children keep enabling that abusive “ good parent” While the entire family System is falling apart at the seams & the kids don’t want 2completely see it.

And then Daddy gets drunk and shits on the floor over by the Tiffany lamp during Lawrence Welk and Grandmother steps in it and tracks it all through the hallway on the beige berber carpet.

Not just the kids, but some adults are saying it as well!

Could not have said it better. We live in a time of great deceit. I'm not sure our fearless "leaders" even know how to tell the truth anymore, they are so enmeshed in their lies and sleights of hand

Most of the kids will lash out bitterly at anyone pointing out the abuse they are experiencing.

You've used family Politicians being the heads or parents in the allegory This is a real issue Politicians are not Parents, they are not wiser older rule setters and IN CHARGE of all us kids We are ADULTS choosing other ADULTS to do a JOB not look after us in a caretaker role
