My God.
CNN's Dana Bash: "Do you think that the state of Nebraska should require a young girl who was raped to carry that pregnancy to term?" Gov. Pete Ricketts: "Those are babies, too." Bash: "Including in the case of rape or incest?" Ricketts: "Yes, they’re still babies."

It bothers me the discussion is only about illegal rape, when rape has literally been legalized in many states. What do you call an adult marrying a 14 year old? Or even 17 year old.

So easy to believe this if the likelihood of getting raped is small and impregnated impossible.

He's telling "his" truth, when people do that, believe them. That's exactly what the Republicans intend to do when Roe v. Wade is overturned, and it's just the beginning.

The only rational purpose of the abortion procedure is as remedy for this situation and if a woman’s pregnancy threatens her life. Nebraska has overreached with this law and needs to rethink it to restore this girl’s autonomy. Until there is a better alternative.

The Republican Party ideology is cancerous to progressing society. You don’t compromise with cancer. To properly heal, you need to find it and remove it.
