A solid majority of Americans are in favor of #MedicareForAll. Someday the US government is going to represent the will of the people and give it to them (insurance and pharmaceutical company donations be damned).
BREAKING: Bernie Sanders just reintroduced Medicare For All in the Senate! The United States is the ONLY industrialized nation without universal health care.

I hate to do this, but look at Putin's speech in January of 2009... Obama coming into office. The financial collapse requiring a solution. War budgets - timid as they were by today's standards - still alarmingly on the rise. windowstorussia.com/from-rus… We are in a serious moment.

Now would be a great time to enact this, as the next round of COVID illnesses & death is just around the corner. Vaccines, boosters, treatments could be available to all and not just to the select few who "breath rarified air".

It's good business too. Companies would save a TON of money, which could go to higher wages, expansion, etc. It'd reduce sick days, boost production & GDP. Household spending & investment would rise. It'd be the greatest economic stimulus in decades.

finance capital dominates the commanding heights of the US economy and as such will not concede health rents we've been waiting for 100 years lol, when is it enough time to recognize "oh, what do you know, capitalist government represents capitalists and not working people"

That's going nowhere. After witnessing their pandemic response who in their right mind would want our inept and incompetent government running that? No thanks, I'll stick with my private health insurance and forgo the increase in taxes.

I’m afraid ‘someday’ most likely will never come!
