A corporatist agenda has so infused itself into our system of government - from Congress to the White House to SCOTUS - that a nonviolent intervention by the American people is legitimate and necessary. It’s not “asking for too much too fast” to say to an abuser “Stop hitting me”

A great part of the American people supports the corporatist agenda one hundred percent. That's the problem. It's misleading to suggest the problem is one between democratic government and the American people. The people, the voters, just don't agree on what is good or bad.

A majority of people do not support that agenda. Currently, due to various forms of voter manipulation, a minority opinion in the United States dominates public policy.

That's the current format of our democracy. Has been for a while. If voters want to change it, they need to take steps, change campaign finance laws, change electoral college, change Senate, etc. Haven't seen them trying very hard. Just saying.
