Disagree. The rich see the poor right in front of them on the streets and step over them. They seeing the working poor every day as their servants. They don’t care about their lives. And the poor see the rich on TV and want to be like them. It’s no use.

They step over homeless people all the time. Poor people aren’t human beings to most of them. It’s the system we live in. Our worth is based on our ability to create wealth. They don’t care that we are struggling. They think we deserve it.

I disagree about the compassion. We’ve seen that all they do is blame the poor for being poor, even though it’s their fault for paying low wages to steal as much of our money and productivity as possible, while getting tax breaks and subsidies from our tax money. What’d I miss?

Many rich got that way by not only seeing how the poor live, but exploiting it. Think payday lending, etc. Think undocumented workers toiling in large estates for a pittance.
