The Fed's efforts to stabilize the economy since 2008, transferring trillions & trillions into the market, which enabled major corporation's massive stock buy backs & thereby 'artificially' raise the value of their stock. It is the source of CEOs staggering increase in wealth.

And some, not all, lower and middle class people believe in the spin of "Freedom, I care for you, I will take care of you, vote for me" There are some wealthy Ethical People, unfortunately, there are many others who want everybody to pay them homage.
