Obama didn't have a super majority, because Franken wasn't seated and folks keep forgetting Joe Lieberman was part of the caucus. You also didn't have enough Dems who supported the bill. And it's also Sarandon's fault.

Consider this, when Obama had a supermajority, there were like way more conservative democrats alongside Joe Manchin in the senate, I could count 10 or more were conservative
