Barack Obama had a super majority, could have called for the codification of reproductive rights but it said “it wasn’t a legislative priority.” For God’s sake, it isn’t @SusanSarandon’s fault.

President Obama never had a Super majority in congress in 8 years. In the House that would 290 out of 435 members. In the senate that would be 67 out of 100 members.

@BarackObama was described as a “Nixon republican in black face” by professor @CornelWest. It was true back then and it continues to be true today. Kind of an immutable truth.

Love how whenever an issue happens everyone starts pointing the finger.Yes I'm sure there's plenty of blame to go around, but its just more of a distraction and instead of focusing on solutions we get stuck in the blame game meanwhile NOTHING gets done ,its exhausting.

It's absolutely Sarandon's fault for discouraging people to vote for Hillary Clinton in 2016. The 2016 election sealed the end of Roe. And Sarandon is discouraging people from voting in the midterms, which is the only path to maintaining abortion rights.

In the last 20 years, there has ALWAYS been an intentional villain in every presidential admin who strolls in & quashes legislation to help the poor/middle-class. It's designed this way for that reason.

I am sure you realize by now that Obama had a 60 vote senate for about 2 months total.
