Barack Obama had a super majority, could have called for the codification of reproductive rights but it said “it wasn’t a legislative priority.” For God’s sake, it isn’t @SusanSarandon’s fault.

Lest we be reminded that in 2009, we had two wars, collapsed economy on the brink of a depression, unemployment through the roof. Who was calling for codifying Roe then?
Forgive me if this seems combative or misinformed, but are rights so simply codified without amending the Constitution? Otherwise, couldn't the SCOTUS simply overrule or stay the legislation?
Replying to @marwilliamson

Yeah it’s the DNC so why would anyone keep voting for them?
Can't believe we're still debating about the autonomy of the bodies of sentient beings. Just wow. The arc is long af. 😞 It's certainly not the fault of any particular person, but if it was it would look a lot more like mitch mcconnell.
Theres plenty of blame to go around.
I don't know how anyone has ever taken you seriously.
