One of the worst parts of the drama around the Roe v. Wade decision is how weak the Democratic response has been. If Daddy hits you and Mommy just wrings her hands and offers you ice cream afterwards, you’ll grow up one day and be really angry at Mommy.

Sorry Marianne ... many of us Dems have been busting for decades, including when Trump got 3 nominees seated egregiously. Many refused to band together in 2016 against Trump for all kinds of "reasons" & now people are pissed?

And this is my problem with the Democratic Party since I have advocated since 2013, my friends testified on Capital Hill about military sexual trauma. GOP has stood in the way. Democrats say one thing to get elected and then do nothing. It's like both parties get off on rape.

Perhaps a majority of Americans support the right for a woman to chose but aren’t mad enough to March in the streets or call their elected officials.

Marianne, I'm getting really angry at people sniping at the Democratic party when we need a blue wave in 2022!!!! What kind of energy are you putting out into the world? Is that energy helping Democrats or Republicans? Please consider this.

It’s a mono-party that’s in place now. All is theater. The pretense that a Democratic/Republican split exists is pure ignorance in action.

So why still try to reform that party? Why not "leave the house" now that we are old enough? We know better now.
