Plus. We don't have the votes & can't push for them. It's like standing at the lunch counter demanding a sandwich when you don't have enough money in your pocket to buy one. That sandwich is not going to show up on a plate in front of you, no matter how loudly you scream for it.

Abolishing the filibuster may feel like a quick and easy answer to stop what the Republican party has spent decades putting in place. But it will not fix things and nothing would please them more than for us to give them a greased path to even more power in 2024 should they win.
