I don’t want to hear one Democrat whine or fundraise or talk about how the Republicans are big bad meanies today. I want to hear how they’re going to use their power to codify and protect reproductive rights. I don’t want their sympathy; I want their battle plans.

Their battle plan is to once again use this to fear monger for votes so they can continue to do nothing so they’ll continue to have this issue to use as an emotional manipulation tool.

The fundraising *is* their battle plan. It's the only thing they know how to do.

How about reminding folks that there are 3 branches of government as well as state and local governments. Too much emphasis on Federal govt as a solution for all problems when some things can be resolved in your home state.

The most likely scenario is they will sit on the issue and use it to fundraise. As they only care about their wealth and careers, why stop the money train.

Battle plans would be great, but some Democrats are conflicted. Their leader in the House helped fuel political attacks on Roe, abandoned opportunities to codify it, and helped pave the path for right wing justices to join the bench. #Accountability
Jessica Cisneros was defeated by conservative Democrat Henry Cuellar in 2020 largely b/c Nancy Pelosi endorsed the anti-choice, reproductive authoritarian incumbent. Every Dem more committed to conservative values than to women’s rights—including Pelosi—deserves to be replaced.

That's the problem, the party doesn't want action. It wants issues and bogeymen it can fundraise against.

They don’t battle. They negotiate. You do battle. Form a party with other warriors. Someone has to do it at some point. May as well be you guys. May as well be now.

Democrats had 50 years to embed women's health into law. They didn't even try. This is the inevitable result of profit over people and corruption. Blessed be! #RoeVWade

If they had any intention of protecting reproductive rights, they would have done that long ago.
