Really if you look at history the republicans have always been just a speed bump to democrats plans. The country has steadily moved left for years. Only recently are the rep actually standing their ground.

Both corporate parties constantly abuse power. Biden's pushing through 33 billion to Ukraine on a whim. He doesn't lack power. The Crime Bill was bipartisan. The Bankruptcy Bill was bipartisan. Iraq and Afghanistan were bipartisan. Democrats aren't weak. They're corrupt.
