That’s because you are an optimist. I believe that when the best political minds in the country choose not to do something they promised, it was a conscious decision, taken with full knowledge of the risks and benefits.

Thus the “haunted in the middle of the night” part, when such conscious decisions are confronted with the weight of conscience and innate inner knowing.

They don't give a flying fuck, neither does a democrat controlled congress and white house.

I just want somebody to go in there and actually do what needs to be done I don't care what anybody else tells them why would you listen to somebody that's been doing it the same way forever not working

This is what drives their election cycles. None of the presidents have any regrets. We can now fight over ROE instead of getting screwed financially by elites.

This is distraction and political theater to keep us fighting. Anything to to distract from economic inequality.

Nahhh, those preside ya are enjoying their retirements with their millions of dollars and their access to avirtiobortions to their whole family. They don't care about regular people. It's all about how much power they can amass. They sleep like angels!

Or, a prior Supreme Court Justice who is thinking, "Damn, I should have retired." Well, maybe not "thinking", but spinning in her grave.
