Abortion rights could have been codified into law. This did not have to happen.
The Supreme Court has voted to strike down Roe v. Wade, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito and obtained by POLITICO. “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” Alito writes. politico.com/news/2022/05/02…

Well technically abortion rights were codified into law - for 50 years. But rogue actors such as yourself who attack Democrats, the only Party upholding our rights, helped bring about this result. Maybe your vag crystals can fix it?

It would get struck down by the courts, if tried under the commerce clause. Stop blaming Democrats for this.

I don't know, I think people like @briebriejoy wanted this to happen, because they're Republicans.

#Abortion rights were never going to become law, it's far too convenient for corporatist Dems to have this issue on hand. The Dems may hold on to Congress in the midterms now, but #minimumwage, #healthinsurance, etc., are all politically dead. We have to take it to the streets.

@marwilliamson with one of the best takes of the evening. The Supreme Court was wrong when it engaged in judicial legislation and constitutionalized abortion in Roe, and it will be right to reverse Roe and return the issue to the people and their elected representatives.

sure if congress wud do their job and write laws correctly scotus wud be able to overturn , laws are designed to be vague, to allow for interpretation threw changing times, not to be direct so there is no room for a diff intrepretation
Scientifically, baby's life started at conception so, ensoulment is a false claim, and #Abortion is the most brutal way to kill a helpless creature!

Democrats are completely inept. Trump would have been better choice than Biden by miles. Biden is a terrible, spinless excuse for a leader.

President Obama had a supermajority but he did not have a governing majority on this issue or on gay marriage, and certainly not on Healthcare at the start of his Administration. This is pure fiction.
