Abortion rights could have been codified into law. This did not have to happen.
The Supreme Court has voted to strike down Roe v. Wade, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito and obtained by POLITICO. “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” Alito writes. politico.com/news/2022/05/02…

This is a symptom, not the disease. It’s a horrid symptom. But a patch on it would not have changed the disease’s progression.
SCOTUS would over turn such a law as easily as they have overturned the precedent of Roe. Attacking our side is not helpful now. Imho

Completely correct. If abortion is indeed good to go constitutionally, it should be short work to craft legislation making it both legal and truly constitutional.

Let’s see who acts like an insurrectionist now.

It’s pretty simple: if you don’t like abortions, don’t have an abortion. If you don’t like gay marriage, don’t get gay married. I don’t get why people find that hard to understand. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Will this mean pregnant males will no longer be able to get an abortion?

If the Dem Party didn't lie, cheat, and steal to stop Bernie in 2016, he would have beat Trump and we would have had a wildly different SC. Instead, the Dem Party and Dem primary voters supported a corrupt establishment nominee delivering Trump and an ultra right wing SC

All those Presidents who could have codified Roe ... now have egg on their faces!

Didn't Obama have 60 votes in the senate and an overwhelming majority in the house? He did nothing.

Do not, DO NOT join this pity party. MITCH MCCONNELL is the architect of the end of Roe. Democrats blame Democrats while Republicans are VOTING. VOTE BLUE in 2022. Vote BLUE for every seat.
