The USA was always for the rich. Poor people, slaves, natives, women, none of them had a say when the founding fathers got together to right their declaration. Do better america, and stop longing hor a past that never existed.

There have always been status quo Pharisees and Sadducees.

Anyone else forced as a teenager to go to pro-capitalism churches during the Dubya era knows exactly what happened.

It was literally never about helping the poor, so it was never a transition.
