The US has far and away the highest poverty rate out of 26 development nations plus we’re basically the only one without universal healthcare & either free or very inexpensive higher education. Show up at every event for every midterm election and ask each candidate why that is.

We already know what their response would be. Depending on party affiliation, it would be either: its too expensive, the other party doesnt support it, or my party wont support it. At the end, the same intended outcome. What next?

That's not what progressive candidates will say. Go to candidatesummit.com and support candidates who tell it like it is.

Yes and no. The House passed the Build Back Better plan and only two Democratic senators voted against it. That was a lot of people who voted FOR something that would have dramatically altered the lives of millions of people for the better. Every GOP legislator voted against it.

The poverty rate in the US is artificially high because: A) Democrats policies institutionalize poverty; and B) We import poverty with open borders.

Can achieve this easier with mass deportations of illegal aliens. And a moratorium on all immigration for five years. That will certainly take the stress off the healthcare system. Also cut off every dollar of foreign aid. And shrink the military budget. We can do this!

I'd ask not why, but how will you change that? Ask them if they and/or staff would write legislation or lobbyists? Ask what would they change first and how? Ask if they would find areas of agreement in people of any party Will integrity win over party loyalty?
