your unwillingness to tie your critique of corporate profit to the injection agenda renders everything you say fairly meaningless.

Corporations filling the South with factories, jobs, apartments, costing tax payers to pay for police, fire, schools, roads, infrastructure. Corps get tax relief and incentives.

I would argue that POLITICAL profit is far more dangerous than corporate profit. Congress lines their pockets with money from the war machine and big pharma.

It’s not an aberration, it’s how capitalism works and has always worked. Capitalism and democracy are incompatible. The only viable “course correction” is to abolish capitalism and replace it with an economic system based on worker ownership of the means of production

What time in US history was guided by enlightened paragons of democratic virtue? 1776? 1865? 1919? 1968? We use liberal ethics to define what's right/just, yet US elites have always violated them while legalizing their illiberal policies & practices US is built on ethical sand

It's called Neo-Liberalism and Reagan brought us it, and every president and congress since has supported it.

If people would only see how we have been screwed by corporations and politics they would be furious. They cannot imagine how much better life would be if we raised the whole sinking ship.

I hope it's not too late. With only 3 years to reduce carbon emissions by 50% I am running out of hope. Hope springs eternal?

America is controlled by an Oligarchy. We're possibly going to see another recession and I guarantee our leaders will shower corporate america with whatever they want, but will let the working class suffer just like last time.
