Shocking to me how many people say "Absolutely not!" about their tax dollars paying for someone else being educated, but didn't seem to have too much of a problem with their tax dollars paying to bomb someone else to smithereens. What do you think our tax dollars go towards now??

Please change "tax dollars" to "public money" when having these discussions. At the federal level of allocation & spending, this is more accurate. #MMT Either way you're right - it's about spending priorities, and ours are completely in favor of spending $$ on the wrong things.
