Shocking to me how many people say "Absolutely not!" about their tax dollars paying for someone else being educated, but didn't seem to have too much of a problem with their tax dollars paying to bomb someone else to smithereens. What do you think our tax dollars go towards now??

Bailing out banks and hedgefunds.

Can I get my money back? I didn't want anyone bombed to smithereens...

I believe a lot of people are fed up that we are $30+ trillion in debt. We are generally not happy with many things the government spends on, including bombs. Bail outs and entitlements are, for the most part, not healthy for a nation, IMO.

The big difference here is nobody chose to be bombed to smithereenes.

The most democratic way to do it would be to ask each tax payer to make a list of priorities on their 1040 return. This is where I want my tax dollars to go....1,2,3. and people who don't have to pay could send in their list of needs.

Good argument to have our tax dollars go for neither. The government doesn't have a "right" to our earnings.

Id rather i keep my dollars for myself given the incompetence of the congress, the white house and the establishment uni-party. #AbolishIncomeTax

Our tax dollars go to paying for things we bought on credit, including hundreds of billions stolen from the PPP
