The idea that I suffered therefore you should suffer too, when the truth of the matter is that neither of you should have ever had to suffer since financial institutions were just making billions of dollars off your suffering, is a feeling I don’t understand. #CancelStudentDebt

Nobody is saying that. People are saying I took responsibility and I'm proud that I did. Now YOU live up to your obligations. Someone said, "the same people that say 'no public money for school vouchers for K-12' are now demanding public money for student debt." Hypocresy

Extravagant Profit off higher education is WRONG. Asking people who’ve paid for their and/or their kids’ voluntary agreed upon education debt, to pay again for other people’s voluntary agreed-upon debt is also WRONG. End the punitive inflation/cost of public education FIRST.

I'm all for that after we stop allowing 18 year-olds from taking out loans for degrees that don't mean anything. The focus should be on finding purpose, not wasting thousands of $'s going to school to be an art major. Give kids better options and realistic goals. #ForwardParty

Why should someone who didn't go to college and on average earns less than a college grad have to pay for someone else's college education? You're robbing the poor and giving it to the rich.

It’s not : “I suffered therefore you should suffer too” It’s : “Here we go again handing out money, but not to me” in 2009 they handed out money to the crooks that caused the global recession, but the people that did not make the bad decisions got nothing Here we go again

If the interest rates were lowered to 1%… people could afford to pay off the loans and have pride doing it
