Just a slight variation of the tried and true, divide and conquer strategy.

Student loans are extremely predatory and should be erased, not paid off with public funds... just erased. Make the universities and the lenders take the hit.

You borrowed it. Repay it. Period.

This is a crabs in the barrel mentality. It is cultivated by the ruling elite to stoke divisions among the people; onky to continue fleecing them like sheep. Usury, fellow envy, & the fear of mutual progress is a spiritual problem deep within the heart of humanity.

If the universities that have become so bloated and continue to raise tuition had to pay off HALF the loan of each student, I might be ok to #CancelStudentDebt. But b/c 80% of those w/student loan debt are in the top 20% of income (doctors, etc.) they should have to pay SOME.

Canceling student debt without first fixing the root problem is dumb. The typical cycle of govt waste

My student debt is paid off, but that doesn't stop me from advocating for #CancelStudentDebt.
