"Doing its job" would be to arrest the CEO of Starbucks for breaking the law. Maybe that's out of NLRB scope, but when companies break the law, for their "punishment" to be that the workers just get re-instated, isn't going to do shit to compel them not to break the law again.

NLRB destroyed unions: the board got captured by corporate interest like all govt agencies and the corporate interests used the board to fight unions from the rear.
