that is assuming there will still be a democracy left to debate in after some years of consolidated GOP power together with SCOTUS. How incredibly naive and shortsighted can progressives BE?
So-called progressives in govt who are unwilling to call out the places where Biden is reneging on promises aren’t a whole lot better than Trump admin officials who sold their souls to stay in their jobs. I’d rather hard debate a Republican than suck up to a corporate Democrat.

So the answer is to forever go along with a Republican-lite agenda rather than providing the American people with a fundamentally different agenda?

the answer is to start winning in state elections. And despite a narrow Biden win, progressive candidates lost in many of them in 2020. You can blame Biden as much as you want but progressives aren't resonating at all with part of the Latino vote, blue collar and rural votes.

Progressives hated on Hillary but loosing that election wasn't a sufficient lesson learnt? Try DeSantis combative style and what happens if he gets elected with a 6-3 Scotus support, more Federalist judges appointed to the circuit and federal courts.
