I think it is true everywhere in the US that a juvenile accused of a crime of this nature has to be detained and released to a parent (or brought before a judge). The child was not handcuffed and was put in secure location. msn.com/en-us/news/crime/pol…

Something similar happened years ago by the firehouse I worked out of. The cops came out like gangbusters over a kid pocketing skittles.. We paid for them, told the cops to get a life, and said “that’s why people hate you and love us..”🖕🖕
