All this will do is traumatize this child and make him hate the police. Great going, geniuses. It is completely opposite of anything related to fighting crime. It is state sponsored child abuse.

Okay, talk to him. Talk to him kindly but sternly. Tell him it鈥檚 against the law and this is just a warning but if you do it again we鈥檙e gonna have to take you to the station. Take him to his mother and talk it over with them both. But not this!!
