This tweet is downright "Sarandon-esque". She wasn't OK with just one term of Trump. She's apparently quite willing to accommodate round two of MAGA in 2025. (Must be nice to have your privilege, to not have to care which party occupies the Oval Office.)
So-called progressives in govt who are unwilling to call out the places where Biden is reneging on promises aren’t a whole lot better than Trump admin officials who sold their souls to stay in their jobs. I’d rather hard debate a Republican than suck up to a corporate Democrat.

I care a lot. And I don’t think Republican-lite is the way for Dems to win in 22 or 24.

Nor do I and it seems to me that progressives are not shy to criticize Biden as warranted. Understood that twitter is character-limited, but the last sentence of your tweet could be interpreted as being OK with Trump (or some other right wing authoritarian) being elected in 2024.

I don’t think another neoliberal Democrat, Biden or anyone else, WILL defeat him. The Dems need to be the party of a fundamental alternative, not just the party of “somewhat better.” rollingstone.com/politics/po…
