So-called progressives in govt who are unwilling to call out the places where Biden is reneging on promises aren’t a whole lot better than Trump admin officials who sold their souls to stay in their jobs. I’d rather hard debate a Republican than suck up to a corporate Democrat.

Yes, I agree. But this comes close to saying that both sides are pretty much the same. They are not - there are more decent Democrats and those who can be pushed in the progressive direction. The Republicans have declared war on democracy. That is the difference.
