In most advanced nations higher education is either free or very low tuition. From health care to education to criminal Justice, what’s called “radical left” in America today are centrist positions in other democratic countries.

True. I live in Norway. If Norway has not had free education then I probably have been poor and ofc uneducated. My parents have never handle money well and most of my childhood we lived very poorly. It’s better that the government handles the money for the education.

I was very naive about America wasn't till this last decade I realized it was in fact a Rightwing country in its DNA with left of the center of right party representing 'left wing' politics

Which nations are those? How would they rank economically if they were a state in the US in income? What is their tax rate? How quickly do people get treated for medical conditions? Etc. not all that glimmers is gold.

We shouldn’t make higher ed free. We should make high school actually provide consistent excellence (while also correcting the student loan practices that increase the *price* of higher ed).
