In most advanced nations higher education is either free or very low tuition. From health care to education to criminal Justice, what’s called “radical left” in America today are centrist positions in other democratic countries.

That's true. What's also extremely undemocratic is the US' two-party (de-facto one-party) system. There are basically no political options for the working class to choose from. The ones wielding real political power is the government/ the kleptocratic elite, not the poeple.

Grads are riddled w/ debt because their studies didn’t qualify them for high paying jobs.Free, useless higher education won’t guarantee success. Education needs a makeover to reflect our changing society.We no longer need college degrees but skill sets

Charging top $ for higher education helps ensure that some people can afford & obtain higher education. This favors Caucasian people & helps to maintain division & economic advantages. All higher education should be free to everyone. It makes our nation stronger & more equitable.
And the people are happy
