Joy Ann Reid asked Elizabeth Warren whether there wasn’t a “moral hazard” involved in cancelling the student debt. But the moral hazard was making the attainment of a higher education such a weight on the back of people simply trying to better themselves to begin with.

The only ‘moral’ hazard’ to be found is in the neoliberal economic policies that MSNBC supports that have decimated the American middle class while creating vast wealth inequality for over 4 decades.

Yes, transfer it from their backs to the backs of those who decided to not attend college or those who fulfilled their financial obligations.

Eating food, drinking water, having a house, all these are about bettering ourselves, but no one argues every good thing in life should be free. (Well, the far left does). The world is not made of gumdrops and ice cream. Whose gonna pay the billions???

Let me tell you something, people need the growing up and confidence paying off their debt brings. I paid off my college debt while homeless donating plasma. If I can do it, anyone can. And it is a rite of passage into adulthood. Good degrees also pay!

College loans are a scam between the govt banks and the universities. The more free money they give out the more money the universities charge. All a game

Community college should be free to students from families with low income. State schools should give scholarships to low income students. The middle class pays for all of this and benefits from an educated workforce. Students need education on debt and schools that prey on them.

Imagine being responsible for yourself?

Canceling loans won’t solve the problem. Colleges will raise their costs even more, and people will continue to take out loans. This is nothing more than vote bait.

How about " responsibility?" When one takes on a loan is it right to have other people incur your debt? Let's talk about the PRICE of education!
