I hate that it has to be about the numbers at all. Absolutely nauseating that a majority of the country needs to be told “helping people would be cheaper than assaulting them” instead of knowing that helping them is the right thing to do

The problem is they don't want the responsibility that comes with homes. You could give them all homes and a year later they would all be homeless again.
