I’d like to see a numerical comparison between the money we spend on encampment sweeps versus what it would cost to provide homes for the people who live in them.

This is an old discussion going back to the 70’s…Mona Charen’s book “Do-Gooders” has a good discussion of the experience of increasing free and low income housing for homeless. Didn’t work because many who live on the streets choose to remain on the streets

I had a similar thought 💭instead building new jails.. use it for free housing for the homeless & provide free mental health services

It’s a hundredth of the cost, duh.

They need mental health first before they can enjoy a free house without burning it

How much would be saved by cancelling the deadbeats' welfare & food stamp handouts

"Around 20 SRG cops here total for 4 tents. They’re threatening arrest if the tents aren’t taken down (with no notice)." ... In Boston (near where I live) when this happened notice was given and Social Workers were there to offer housing alternatives.

Sadly, oppression is cheaper. Homelessness exploded because it is cheaper to harass poor people and let them die in the street.

LOL: an “anti-terror”, yet no one has the hair between their legs to talk about our war of terror for daily commerce…just words, words, words…and talkie, talkie, talkie…what did Martin King call it? Being an Accommodator, a nice Blue Pill Gig🤣
