The Overton window has moved so far to the right that corporate Democrats are what Eisenhower Republicans were when I was growing up. I hope the center shifts back in my lifetime.

Who could have imagined that voting (and supporting and endorsing) the author of the 1994 crime bill for President would backfire?? We tried to warn you.

Yup. Our Kyrsten Sinema in AZ is a prime example.

Dem right is clearly an oxymoron. Try to be a bit serious.

the one who’s shifted far to the right is you, marianne. through your wholehearted support of mandating whatever big pharma wants mandated. also: stop using your 2019 talking points. it shows you have no concept of what the last two years were like for ordinary americans.

Further than that, I'd say. "Centrist" Democrats are now Goldwater Republicans just like Hillary always was. They red-bait at the drop of a hat, love war for war's sake, and hate all minorities. Eisenhower was never anywhere near this psychotic.

There has to be something for the center to vote for; AnAmericanUnion.com has that with legislation to end poverty, mass incarceration, and the endless wars. There's a monthly fast of moral pressure directed at Congress; we need a spiritual upgrade as well as political.

You are out of your mind. The window as shifted left for at least the last 40 years.
