If ever there was a lack of corporate ethics, this is it. No company should turn tragedy into a profit center.

Wouldn’t it be great if the government spent more time regulating tech companies rather than taking their money to win elections?

Idk, I see it as either you believe in free market or price controls, I mean, should we only say women and children should be able to ride?
The algorithm doesn’t care about your feelings
Yeah, and those pesky drivers shouldn’t be able to profit either, huh?

Hey .. Uber driver here lol … I have a family to provide for . I also wouldn’t want to go to an area where there was a mass shooting , for regular pay . So… yeah we’re people too

No one is talking about how these Uber drivers are putting themselves at risk by driving to this area too… if the money’s not worth it why take the risk?

Hot take: It’s neither the drivers’ nor Uber’s fault there’s a shooting, thereby driving up demand. Besides, drivers need to make more money, in case you haven’t checked out gas prices recently.
