An economic system should exist to serve the deepest needs of humanity. What we have now is humanity in servitude to an economic system that in the final analysis could care less about its deepest needs.

I think it's "could not care less" considering how narrow & limited domestic policies. Just the students who chose to borrow, & child care for under 12 yr olds, but not a livable minimum wage, not a peep about repaying the $2.7Trillion they stole from SS so ROI is above poverty!
