All they had to do was help people. Their problem isn’t with messaging, it’s with policies.
NEW: Congressional Democrats had a 12-point generic ballot lead over the GOP in December among recipients of the expanded child tax credit. That benefit has dried up, and now congressional Republicans have the advantage with this group of voters. morningconsult.com/2022/04/0…

It's about both.. Polls will tighten as the months go on regardless. INFLATION driven by GLOBAL events affecting our domestic market is hurting us no matter the good things we are doing in DC. Dems need to do more legislatively & message them better & Biden needs prices to ease..

The Child Tax Credit will never be restored--and will probably have to repaid back to Treasury--the minute Republicans re-take control of government Perhaps the "recipients" need an education on that

Your problem is not with Democrats, it’s with a single person.. Joe Manchin

It’s simple, it’s a choice between losing votes or donors. It’s apparent who they sided with.

I am excited to hear that democrats will pay the price for deceiving us. I know that the alternative, republicans, is not good as well, therefore it is important that we start to think seriously about an alternative to Teo party dictatorial system that it is in place.

Dem thinking: "We gave you a few crumbs off the table, so why aren't you grateful as we plunder the economy on behalf of our donors?"

Democrats, never missing an opportunity to miss an opportunity.

So true about "messaging"!!! We all instinctively recognize when someone is "messaging" us rather than speaking to us like, you know, human beings. I hate to see it happening, but there will sure as hell be a reckoning, and we are all going to pay a high price when it comes.

Sleepy done build back much worse, with super limited effort! Clearly, he just likes the role, not the responsibility!
