All they had to do was help people. Their problem isn’t with messaging, it’s with policies.
NEW: Congressional Democrats had a 12-point generic ballot lead over the GOP in December among recipients of the expanded child tax credit. That benefit has dried up, and now congressional Republicans have the advantage with this group of voters. morningconsult.com/2022/04/0…

As Biden said to a bunch of millionaire donors, "Nothing will fundamentally change". Revolt.
But we can change it anytime we like, no permission required: #DirectDemocracy #GiftEconomy "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government..." - Thomas Jefferson
I believe messaging is a weak point for the Dems but policies that help the people will always outweigh that weakness. Unfortunately it seems that they are so enclosed in this pattern that they are giving the leverage to the right and a recipe for even worse is bound to happen

I agree ... all they had to do was to help people ... but they didn't have the courage!

Manchin blocked it. Claimed the people in his state would use the money for drugs. How insulting to his Constituents.

Oh, and the Democrats dont just have problem with policy (at lot of which cannot come about because they have a "big tent" than includes Manchin and Sinema) They have even a bigger problem with messaging Republicans dont have this issue. They get elected & still fail to govern

They prefer to spew meaningless rhetoric about what’s right, moral, and just - but will never propose concrete policy to DO what’s right, moral, and just. America has been plagued with this type of disingenuous leadership since its founding. youtube.com/RiXPsHe8UkI

I’d say we don’t have a policy problem we have a politician problem

All the more reason no one should support vote by color initiatives. The scourge of Neoliberalism is the arrogance of thinking making false promises to get elected makes them in any way fit for office. Politicians are the laziest workers in history, & bad workers should be fired

YES! All Politicians are only there to help themselves
