I was arrested for peaceful climate civil disobedience in front of the Chase building in LA to raise climate urgency with @theGregSpooner, Eric Gill, and Allan Chornak. The LAPD responded with at least 100 cops in riot gear #ScientistRebellion

The US is a failed state. The govt does not meaningfully respond to the needs of the people. Leaders increase military and police budgets to try to maintain control. Capitalism will protect itself. A Chase bank has more value to the oligarchs than a few humans with ‘rights’.
