Howard Schultz is the 209th-richest person in the U.S. with a net worth of $4.3 billion. Yesterday he said “companies are being assaulted by the threat of unionization.” I can’t imagine why.

Remember: that is YOUR MONEY. For 40 years profits & productivity have gone up, but wages haven't. Meanwhile the rich are richer than ever. You are owed 40 years of back pay. #taxtherich to #getyourmoneyback

Is he afraid of having less than 4.3 billion? So it might drop to 4.295 billion? How pathetic. Why doesn't he just import workers from India via H1-B Visas like Bill Gates did?

Doesn't Starbucks provide full health insurance coverage beginning on the first day of employment? Unions aren't all rainbows and butterflies. A culture of good management trumps unionization and there's the rub.

And for what? Keeping up with the Joneses? There was a great documentary studying ‘rich people’ and it found they are at a high school maturity level, always trying to keep up with the ‘in crowd’. Inventing Ana is a great example of this. People salivating over number of $$$$

It's time for the poor and poorer to share in the profits ... unions cause trauma for the ruling class, and power balance! I love unions because they help common poor workers create equalized power !!

Workers have been assaulted for decades by rich assholes that never have enough. If it were up to them we’d work for free.
