A government’s role should be to help people thrive – to support their dreams, not thwart their dreams. Every American should grow up feeling that their country is setting them up to succeed. What we have right now is completely upside down.

Every American has free access to K-12 education. There is a viable and functioning safety net for those in poverty. The elderly have SS and Medicare. We are not "completely upside down" on these issues. Thank a Democrat.

If we have a “viable & functioning” safety net, why are half a million people homeless? If SS & Medicare are enough, why are one in four Americans not able to pay for prescription drugs that have been prescribed to them by their doctor? Why are 17 million children hungry?

Glass-Steagall separates speculative banks from commercial banks. If speculative banks gamble with other people's money & lose they should go bankrupt; protect commercial banks with gov't insurance. China is the only country with banking separation today.

People still believe this after everything government have done in the pandemic? They proven to be inefficient and ineffective. It’s better to limit scope of their role and automate their job as much as possible.

Amen, though maybe better to crawl before racing motorcycles. A great start would be a government that secures a level playing field for all and otherwise leaves most everyone alone most all the time. Now it’s so corrupt, God forbid it gets more proactive!

Then why do you still want the government to get more of our money?

A country is only as strong as the ppl in it.
