College debt impacts our society in many horrible ways. Kids dating? Nope, have no money. Live in parents basement for years? Check. Our recents grads living paycheck to paycheck? Yes. Say goodbye to ever having grandkids…again, yes. 😩

I’m not sure why Ireland isn’t included in the list but we offer free 3rd level for EU members. Students pay a low-fee registration fee (which is small compared to tuition fees). Also all students can apply for a grant, and if eligible, the registration fee is reimbursed.
