1/ So much bad that's happening in the world today - from environmental breakdown to immigration tragedies to Ukraine - bears the fingerprints of neoliberal economic policies that have dominated US domestic and foreign policy for the last forty years.

2/ If the governing principle for how we behave in the world doesn't change from corporate competition to humanitarian collaboration, the reckoning that is already happening will pave a path to multiple more catastrophes not only for us but for the world.

3/ We can have a fundamental pattern disruption but only if we're willing to claim it, articulate it & unapologetically go for it. Christian Smalls deserves the accolades he's getting this week; that victory alone gives hope that a greedy behemoth can be successfully challenged.

One of the lessons I think we should take away from all this: The era of "Si vis pacem para bellum" must end, bc the para bellum part is all we could think of. A new era must rise, if we want peace we must prepare peace, we must build confidence and overcme the reasons for war

Neoliberalism has brought about global wealth inequality ... the accelerating concentration of economic and political power within unprecedentedly large multinational corporations ... And ... the degradation of culture and norms that liberal economics supposedly encourages.

See Norway, Sweden, Finland. Not perfect. But far more perfect than USA. Big problem in US, people with severely limited cognitive ability are not shamed into the shadows of society. In fact, they are given national exposure with a Fox TV show. Priorities and values upside down.

The only neoliberal was the name of the agenda which was a increase of corporate earnings doing 2 things: 1. Foreign, Making deals with ruthless dictatorships in exchange for cheap slaves. 2 Domestic, a steady increase of the monopolistic practices in all the industries,
