To me the most enlightened economies are hybrids of socialism and capitalism, as in certain Scandinavian countries.

Real Socialism existed in Yugoslavia , when western so called democracies realized that Socialism does work in real world they decided to destroy Yugoslavia .

neoliberalism & the far-right are on the rise all over scandinavia, social democracy leaves the mechanisms of capitalism in place & the pleasantries of it are temporary as the profit motive restores power to the capitalists

They are not hybrids. There is no mixture. Those societies clamp down on the power that capitalists have. They only benefit from clamping down more. There is no amount of private power for wealthy people that helps anyone but themselves.
