The revitalization of the labor movement isn’t going to destroy capitalism; it’s the only thing that can save it.

To me the most enlightened economies are hybrids of socialism and capitalism, as in certain Scandinavian countries.

Those Scandinavian Countries are "Social Democracies" aka nanny states. They're pretty Centrist by world standards, but our Neoliberal Overlords would have us believe they're "Leftist." Bernie Sanders Policy is that of a Social Democrat, not even a Democratic Socialist.

We WANT capitalism to be destroyed Marianne. It doesn’t need saving, it NEEDS to be destroyed. You should want that too. Capitalism needs to be ham-stringed and reigned in with as many ropes as possible, then destroyed. Not to be cliche, but please read more theory: 🏴🚩🌹🌲

So what you are saying is that you have no fucking clue what capitalism and socialism are :) Where does the enlightened Scandinavia get its consumer products from since they have deindustrialized their economy? psst ill give you a hint, Imperialism... how enlightened!

Do you know how these countries are dependent upon the exploited labor outside of Europe? Or how their domestic policies towards minorities are often very racist? Do you even know what capitalism is to make such a statement?

And when Buddha sat beneath the Bodhi tree, and became enlightened, the truth that came to him was: "Fuck the Global South."

The nordic countries welfare has been cut over the last 40 years, because the labour movement didnt break with capitalism, like you propose. That these are "Mixed economies" is a lie. If you accept capitalism, you have to play by the rules of capitalism. /Sincerely, a Swede

Those countries are better to live in but they can only go as far as global imperialists and capitalists let them. So when someone like Olaf Palme, Swedish PM, started to seriously question colonialism and imperialism, he got assassinated.

There are no socialist countries in europe. The public/state administration of utilities does not mean that a country is socialist. YOU ARE VERY STUPID.

20 years ago you could have included your northern neighbour in that compliment. Canada isn't feeling so enlightened these days.
