To me the most enlightened economies are hybrids of socialism and capitalism, as in certain Scandinavian countries.

I get what you're going for, but there are socialist systems that have markets. Don't let them define capitalism as 'the existence of trade', we've had that since the beginning. Capitalism as an ideology is barely a century out.
