The revitalization of the labor movement isn’t going to destroy capitalism; it’s the only thing that can save it.

To me the most enlightened economies are hybrids of socialism and capitalism, as in certain Scandinavian countries.

A militant labor movement can be an impetus to our own necessary regime change. Our choice today is clear: building socialism — as in “one big union for all people” — or a deeper descent into fascism. Stop supporting the two corporate-owned fascist parties. That’s what they are.

Capitalism has been growing at compound rate of 3.5% give or take. “Doubling Time” suggests that it has and will need to *double* in size every 20 years which is a mathematical impossibility on a planet with finite resources. Math here:

Labor unions aren’t here to save capitalism.

What an absurd take. The labor movement is workers' organized resistance to the exploitation that capitalism inherently involves. Capitalism needs to be destroyed, and an organized international workers movement is what will hopefully one day destroy it.

Trying to save capitalism is one of the biggest problems with the organized labor movement in the United States. A militant and organizer working class understands that capital and capitalism is enemy no. 1

Save Capitalism? There is a large majority that want to get it small enough to drown in a bathtub.

First you need to define what you mean by capitalism and then contextualize.

Capitalism is at its purest form when slavery is open & widely used. Capitalism is constantly trying to revert to it's original form and each time a labor law is repealed or weakened, it's capitalism going back to it's roots in slavery. It doesn't need to be saved, but destroyed.
