To me the most enlightened economies are hybrids of socialism and capitalism, as in certain Scandinavian countries.

We have gotten used to Capitalism à la Henry Ford: 40 hour work weeks etc so we can buy products. This happened because of unions - and competition with Communism! Capitalism must COMPLETE in the free market of ideas.
