I’m old enough to remember a time when unions were a big deal; I witnessed how they were suppressed from without and corrupted from within. It’s wonderful watching a new generation re-engage, re-imagine and rebuild the labor movement.

Its a little ray of hope in an otherwise catastrophic situation. Not sure how well unions will do under a corporate backed, right wing, competitive authoritarian regime. Especially with the marxist/radical left scapegoat rhetoric seemingly being very appealing to many.

Last year retired from a union job. I spent about 20 years in union leadership in a rural area. Biggest challenge was getting members to understand the union is not separate from them, it is them. The youthful energy in unions is bringing them back to life. It's great to see!

It might be time to start a new Human Union, as more and more jobs around the world are threatened by technology. #UnionStrong #Artificial_Intelligence

Amazon workers still are not unionized. They have zero influence on the management of the company. So what is the excitement about?

Labor unions are what made the Middle Class of the USA. One Union worker in a family could afford a house, two cars, feed a family of four and vacation anywhere in the world while the other member stayed home. Now two-worker families can barely afford shelter. That’s slave labor.

I remember when they kept the wages up. Mothers could stay home and raise their kids. Spend a family week vacation in the mountains or at the shore. And more.
